OSTI.GOV, DOE OSTI's primary search tool for DOE-funded R&D, has an ORCID integration allowing users to add research outputs quickly and easily to their ORCID record. Users can connect their ORCID iDs to OSTI.GOV and give OSTI permission to directly add records found in OSTI.GOV to their Works in their ORCID Record.

This feature also extends to OSTI's research output submission system, E-Link. When a user chooses to give OSTI permission to update their Works, anytime a new or updated record is submitted via E-Link with their ORCID iD associated, that research output record is added to their ORCID Record.
