Analysis of the disintegration of an excited carbon nucleus. [Dalitz-Fabry diagrams]

The disintegration of an excited carbon nucleus formed in the reaction /sup 12/C ..-->.. ..cap alpha.. ..-->.. /sup 12/C* + ..cap alpha.. into three ..cap alpha.. particles is analyzed. The Dalitz-Fabry diagrams are constructed for the following excited states of the carbon nucleus: 7.6, 9.6, 10.3, and 10.8 MeV.
