GENERALIZED DALITZ DIAGRAM IN LOW-ENERGY NUCLEAR PHYSICS (in German)
The characteristics of nuclear reactions of the type A + a yields C* yields b/sub 1/ + b/sub 2/ + b/sub 3/ can be surveyed by plotting the energy angular correlations on a generalized Dalitz diagram. The generalized Dalitz diagram consists of a triangle whose sides have lengths proportional to the masses b/sub 1/, b/sub 2/, and b/sub 3/. The construction of the diagram, the formula for plotting the coincidence measurements, and the application of tbe results are described for the reaction B/sup 11/ + p yields C/sup 12*/ yields 3 alpha .
