The Northeast Quadrant map sheets are well advanced through the coordinated efforts of panel members from North and Central American countries. Only the Tectonic Map of the originally planned map series remains to be completed by the Northeast Quadrant Panel. The completed maps together will allow a good comprehension of the interrelationships between geologic, tectonic, and geodynamic features as they relate to the occurrence of energy and mineral resources for the Circum-Pacific region. This poster display features the recently completed Energy-Resources Map and compilations in progress for the Tectonic Map.
