Versatility of laser induced fluorescence line narrowing in chemical analysis

Conference ·
OSTI ID:6951516
Laser excited fluorescence line narrowing spectroscopy (FLNS) in organic glasses at low temperatures has previously been shown to be a high sensitivity and resolution technique for the analysis of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in real samples. In this paper the versatility of FLNS is underscored by application to amino-PAH, PAH metabolites and aromatic carcinogen-DNA adducts.
