The present conference considers topics in the fields of highly parallel computing systems' algorithms and architectures, hardware implementation-related problems, software-related issues, and the design of optical matrix processors. Attention is given to eigenvector signal processing methods, architectures for the computation of eigenvalues, bit-serial architectures for parallel arrays, a systolic algorithm, and the application of hypercube architectures to signal processing. Also discussed are arithmetic algorithms and circuits, VLSI array processor programming languages, optical matrix-vector processors, and architectures and algorithms for optical linear algebra processors.
