Title: Real time signal processing VII; Proceedings of the Meeting, San Diego, CA, August 21, 22, 1984

Conference ·
OSTI ID:5608985

Parallel processing algorithms and architectures are considered, taking into account promising directions in parallel processing research, the implementation of eigenvector methods, the solution of singular value problems using systolic arrays, singular value decomposition with systolic arrays, an algorithm for singular value decomposition, and high-performance architectures for adaptive filtering based on the Gram-Schmidt algorithm. Other topics discussed are related to parallel processing computations and methodologies, matrix processor implementations, and optical signal processing technology. Attention is given to temporal localization and systolization of signal flow graph (SFG) computing networks, the design and descriptive tools for systolic architectures, fault-tolerant matrix operations on multiple processor systems using weighted checksums, a one-third gigaflop systolic linear algebra processor, a real-time incoherent optical signal processing system, and electro-optical signal processing applications of the GaAs CCD.
