These proceedings discuss the high speed computing techniques. Some of the topics discussed are: Arithmetic fourier transform calculations using fiber optical parallel processors; parallel recirculating pipeline for signal and image processing; hybrid SIMD/MIMD architecture for image understanding; high speed VLSI digital filtering; and memoryless bit-serial processing element for highly parallel computing; and systolic implementation of neural networks.
