Superconducting YBa{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub 7} films with {Tc}=84 K were deposited on polished polycrystalline BeO substrate by reactive evaporation and {ital in} {ital situ} annealing in a low-pressure oxygen atmosphere. By this process the surface quality of the films is the very same as the substrate. At low annealing temperature ({ital T}{sub {ital R}}=650 {degree}C) the film is not textured but shows good superconducting properties. The {ital c}-axis orientation perpendicular to the plane of the substrate is observed for {ital T}{sub {ital R}}=780 {degree}C.
