In the quasinuclear quark model the spectra of secondary particles in the region x> or approx. =0.1 are formed by hadrons that contain one or two spectator quarks. Inclusion of the shadowing corrections to the impulse approximation, i.e., of the interactions of several quark pairs in pp collisions, changes the number of spectator quarks and hence the magnitude of the inclusive spectra of various particles in the fragmentation region. This effect amounts to about 20--30% at energies approx.10/sup 2/ GeV. Increase of the relative contribution of the shadowing corrections are a result of the growth of the total cross sections with energy must lead to a violation of scaling of the spectra of various particles. An especially strong scaling violation is predicted for nuclear targets.
