The inclusive spectra of secondary mesons and baryons at high energy are calculated. It is assumed that fragmentation hadrons are formed by the spectator mechanism and that their x distributions coincide with the spectator-quark distributions. The distributions of sea hadrons were taken to be the same as those in e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation. The relative probabilities for the production of various particles are calculated using the quark statistics rules. Detailed comparison with experiment demonstrates the success of the quasinuclear picture of the quark structure of hadrons.
