The authors investigate the physicochemical and some physical properties of the solid solutions given in the title. For studying the PbTe-Eu/sub 2/Te/sub 3/ system, nine alloys were synthesized using p-type PbTe. A partial phase diagram shows the concentration dependences of microhardness and unit-cell parameter, and the electrical conductivity and thermo-emf of alloys of the PbTe-Eu/sub 2/Te/sub 3/ system.
