System PbTe-GeSe/sub 2/

The constitution diagram of the system PbTe-GeSE/sub 2/ was constructed. It turned out to be a diagram of the simple eutectic type with a restricted region of solid solutions based on the starting components. Addition of GeSe/sub 2/ to PbTe with p-type conductivity increases the coefficient of thermo-emf and the total thermal conductivity and decreases the electrical conductivity of the alloys studied.
