The dependence of the longitudinal photovoltage on the displacement of the light spot of film coordinate-sensitive pCdTe-nCdS photoelements in the photo-emf mode (1/R = 0) and with R = R/sub 0/ varies linearly when the light spot coordinate is varied. The value of the photosensitivity determined from the slope of the coordinate characteristic is 600 mW/mW.mm for illumination by a W-incandescent lamp and 700 to 800 mW/mW.mm for monochromatic radiation with a wavelength of 0.7 to 0.8..mu..m.
