N.J. Transit starts rail links

In an effort to meet federal clean air regulations and improve transportation, New Jersey Transit directors recently proposed a $545-million capital budget for fiscal 1995. If the legislature approves the state`s share of the budget, the money would fund a variety of rail projects, particularly in the northeast part of the state.
