Papers are presented in the areas of nonequilibrium processes, ignition, turbulence, asymptotic analytical solutions and detailed kinetic modelling of combustion in reactive and explosive systems. Specific topics include the gasdynamic processes in laser pulse propulsion devices, the calculation of vibrationally relaxing flows in nozzles, the thermochemistry of methane ignition, theories for turbulent, reacting and planar mixing layers, fluctuating components in an open-jet flame, the propagation of gasdynamic disturbances in an explosive atmosphere, cross-transport in nonadiabatic premixed flames, and stiffness and implicit finite difference methods for combustion modeling.
