The Z-dependence has been studied for the differential cross sections in quasielastic charge exchange in nuclei ..pi../sup -/A/sub Z/ ..-->..M/sup 0/A/sup *//sub Z/..sqrt../sub 1/ at momentum 39.1 GeVc, where M/sup 0/ = ..pi../sup 0/, eta, ..omega.., and f/sub 2/ (1270), and A/sub Z/ = /sup 1/ H, /sup 6/ C, /sup 13/ Al, /sup 29/ Cu, /sup 50/ Sn, and /sup 82/ Pb. The Z-dependence has been obtained for the first exponential slopes of the differential cross sections, and also the t-dependences of the effective charges of the nuclei and the Z-dependences of the total cross sections for charge-exchange processes
