Fission product levels of the primary coolant at PWR decreased between end of Core 1 Seed 1 life and early Core 1 Seed 2 operations. This decrease was probably the result of removing the old seed with its associated Pu/sup 239/. The replacement seed had a relatively low U contamination level, however, absolute contamination values of the replacement seed could not be determined because of background activity from the blanket fuel.
