THE FAIM CODE, A MULTI-GROUP, ONE-DIMENSIONAL DIFFUSION EQUATION CODE

Technical Report ·
OSTI ID:4832629
FAIM is a general multigroup, one-dimensional diffusion equation code programmed in FORTRAN language for the IBM 7090 computer. Although the code is basically designed for use in connection with a microscopic cross section library, it is possible to enter macroscopic cross sections in some or all groups and in some or all regions. A major feature of the code is the revised data input consisting of self-explanstory data sheets. There are three types of concentration searches included in the choice of six criticality searches. A data edit including neutron balance is also a feature of the code. (auth)
