MODRIC: A ONE DIMENSIONAL NEUTRON DIFFUSION CODE FOR THE IBM-7090

MODRIC is a multigroup one-dimension reactor neutron diffusion code for the IBM-7090. It is written in Fortran language with provision for a maximum of 50 energy groups, 20 regions, and 250 radial points. Neutron scattering by all elements except hydrogen is calculated with the aid of removal cross sections, with a maximum of ten sink groups. For hydrogen scattering the Selengut-Goertzel equation is used. There are options available for criticality search and computing few group constants. (auth)
