The influence of a high vacuum anneal at 1930 deg K on the electrical resistance at room temperature and on the recrystallization texture was determined. It was found that the resistance reaches a constant end value with tncreasing annealing time, and that in the alpha phase a double fiber texture arises with the hexagonal directions STA110! and STA101! as fiber axes.
