After injury of the liver tissue respiration by injection of P/sup 32/ solution the effects of cystine, cysteine, glutathione, vit. K, chlorophyll, ethyl alcohol, and glucuronic acid were studied. It was concluded that adequate amounts of ethyl alcohol and of glucuronic acid were effective against radia tion damage to the tissue resptration. (Abstr. Japan Med., 1: No. 13, l961)
