The French Patent 1,188,113 describes a boiling water reactor provided with water-steam separators comprising a helical ramp; fertile material is introduced into the reactor in order to control its reactivity. According to the present addition, the fertile material is introduced not via separate tubular circuits but directly into the boiling water of the reactor. (NPO)
