Studles on the effects of gamma rays on a slngle straln of Esch. coli irradlated wlth Co/sup 60/ were made. The effects of three condltions, which showed the hlgher survivals of Esch. coli upon other food bacteria are reported. A pure agar medium was used for irradiation beslde a nutrient agar medium.
