Effect of Gamma-ray upon Food Microorganisms

A series of studies were carried out out on the effects of gamma rays on a single strain of Escherichia coli irradiated with cobalt-60. The effects of three conditions, which showed the higher survivals of E. coli upon other food bacteria are reported. A pure agar medium was used for irradiation besides a nutrient agar medium.
