RADIATION AND TEMPERATURE TESTS OF MINIATURE TRANSISTOR AMPLIFIERS
Technical Report

OSTI ID:4819028
Results of radiation and temperature tests are presented for two types of miniature transistor amplifiers. Performance curves are shown, and an analysis of the results leading to a possible method of failure prediction is given. One of the ampllfier types was successfully tested at 150 deg C with gamma irradiation of 4.7 x 10/sup 7/ roentgens, and a fastneutron dosage of 7.0 x 10/sup 13/ nvt (epicadmium). These resuits place the use of such an amplifier, as an airframemounted control component, within the realm of feasibility. (auth)
