Radiation effects on the uptake of radioactive iron (Fe59) by rat bone marrow megakaryocytes in vivo
A study was made to determine if radiation had any effect on Fe59 uptake in megakaryocytes. The results obtained were tabulated, and they show that Fe59 incorporation in the megakaryocytes of rat bone marrow in vivo is a radiosensitive process. (J.S.R.)
