A black-sphere nuclear model was used for calculating differential and total cross sections of diffraction production of pi mesons and strange particles in fast-proton interactions with nuclei and diffraction production of nucleonantinucleon pairs in fast pi -meson collisions with nuclei. Correlations of differential cross sections for diffraction processes with experimental data provide data on the behavior of form factors describing the pi NN, K LAMBDA N, and K SIGMA N vertex and data for determining the K or lambda (or SIGMA ) relative parity.
