EFFECT OF SOME DRUGS AND BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE SUBSTANCES ON THE BLOOD PRESSURE OF X-IRRADIATED RATS

Journal Article · · Bull. Inst. Nuclear Sci. Boris Kidrich (Belgrade)
OSTI ID:4798451
An investigation is described of the response of xirradiated rats to drugs and to sorae biologically active materials. The whole-body x-ray dose is 600 r. In time intervals of 7, 14, 21, and 30 days after irradiation, the animals are prepared for direct recording of the blood pressure. The effects of adrenaline, acetylcholine, histamine, eserine and hexamethonium are investigated. (auth)
