HNPF PRIMARY PIPE TUNNEL LEAK TEST REPORT

Tests were made on the primary pipe tunnel of the Hallam Nuclear Power Facility to determine the leakage rate, to find minor leaks at penetrations into the tunnel, and to ascertain the structural integrity of the tunnel and of the nltrogen cooling units and associated ducting. The pipe tunnel was found to fulfill the requirements given in Supplement 4 of NAA-SR-5700 (safeguards report), namely, less than 2.1% standard volume leakage in 24 hr. (D.L.C.)
