Combined therapy for mastopathia consisting of sex hor. mone and x irradiation of the hypophysis resulted in a shorter treatment period and administration of less sex hormone as compared with the single hormone treatment method. The hypophyseo-adrenocortical function was not stimulated by the androsterone given to the patient with mastopathia, which only neutralized the female sex hormone in the peripheral blood. The hypophyseo-adrenocortical function was regulated by irradiation of the hypophysis with 100 r. (Abstr. Japan Med., 2: No. 10, Oct. 1962)
