INVESTIGATION OF THE EFFECT OF AN EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD ON THE LIGHT CHARACTERISTICS OF A PULSED DISCHARGE IN HELIUM (in Russian)

The effect of a longitudinal quasistationary field up to 150,000 Oe on the brightness of the column of a pulsed discharge in helium is investigated. It is found that the brightness of a discharge column in a magnetic field increases with the field strength. The plasma conductivity in this case also increases. (auth)
