QUADRUPOLE INTERACTION AND ISOMERIC SHIFTS OF 23.8 kev $gamma$-TRANSITION OF Sn$sup 119$ NUCLEUS IN ORGANO-TIN COMPOUNDS (in Russian)

Measurements are made of the spectra of resonance absorption of a gamma -transition of Sn/sup 119/ of energy 23.8 kev in organotin compounds (C/sub 4/H/ sub 9/)/sub 2/SnX/sub 2/ (X is a halogen atom) (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/)/sub 2/SnO, (C/ sub 4/H/sub 9/)/sub 2/SnS, (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/)/s ub 2/SnSO/sub 4/, and (C/sub 4/H/ sub 9/)/sub 2/SnSO/sub 3/, and also in the compounds (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/)/sub 4/Sn, SnCl/sub 4/, and SnBr/sub 4/. The magnitudes are determined of the constants of quadrupole interaction for a 23.8-kev excited state of the Sn/sup 119/ nucieus, and the magnitudes of isomeric shifts of a 23.8-kev gamma transition in the foregoing compounds (relative to the transition energy in tin dioxide). It is shown that these magnitudes vary regularly for compounds of type (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/ )/sub 2/ SnX/sub 2/ and SnX/sub 4/ when the electronegativity of the X atom varies. The magnitude of the electric field gradient on a tin nucieus is found to be influenced by double bonds in molecules and also by atoms with high electronegativity that are not directiy connected with the tin atom. A possibie qualitative interpretation of the observed regularities is discussed. (auth)
