EFFECT OF $gamma$-RADIATION ON THE SHAPE OF MOSSBAUER RESONANCE ABSORPTION SPECTRA IN TIN-ORGANIC COMPOUNDS (in Russian)
The effect of gamma radiation on the shape of the spectra of Mossbauer resonance absorption of 23.8-kev gamma quanta in tin-organic compounds is investigated. The change in the spectrum for the compound (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/)/sub 2/ SnSO/sub 4/ corresponds to splitting of the compound and formation of the compounds SnSO/sub 4/ and possibly (C/sub 4/H/sub 9/)/sub 2/ SnSO/sub 3/ (upon irra diation in vacuum). Irradiation of the indicated compound in the presence of oxygen leads to its oxidation to SnO/sub 2/ (or some other compound with a simtlar electron configuration in the tin atom). When the polymer STA(C/sub 4/H/ sub 9/)/sub 2/Sn(OCOCCH/sub 3/CH/sub 2/)/sub 2/!/su b n/ was irradiated, the quadrupole splitting doublet lines were found to broaden and a concurrent relative decrease of the height of one of the components took place.
