DETERMINATION OF URANIUM IN MILK

A sample of milk is evaporated to dryness, ashed, and the residue dissolved in nitric acid. Uranium is extracted from the solution with tributyl phosphate/isooctane reagent and determined absorptiometrically as the dibenzoylmethane complex. (auth)
