Journal Article · · Radiobiologiya (U.S.S.R.) For English translation see Radiobiology (Engl. Transl.)
OSTI ID:4748929

Intravenous injections of homologous bone marrow into lethally irradiated (600 to 650 r) guinea pigs protected 46% of the animals from death during 30 days. Intraosseous infections showed no advantages over intravenous. The guinea pig chimeras exhibited no secondary stages of radiation sickness and no increase in remote death. (R.V.J.)
