COINCIDENCE STUDY OF THE K$sup 39$ (n,p$gamma$)A$sup 39$ AND K$sup 39$(n,$alpha$$gamma$)Cl$sup 36$ REACTIONS
The reactions K/sup 39/(n,p gamma )Ar/sup 39/ and K/sup 39/(n, alpha gamma )Cl/sup 36/ ha ve been investigated using a KI(TI) charged particle detector and a Na((Tl) gamma detector. Evidence for a cascade transition from the 2.10-Mev level in Ar/sup 39/ via the 1.27-Mev level was noted, and new levels at 2.36, 2.66, and 2.76 Mev were found.
