INDUCED RADIOACTIVITY FOR COARSE COPPER-ORE CONCENTRATION
Thermal neutron radiation is used to induce radioactivity in Cu ore. Counting methods were studied to distinguish between pahicles of different Cu content. The construction and operation of a free-fall sorting device employing a scintillation counter and flipping gate are described. (R.J.S.)
