The gamma rays in the decay of Ce/sup 143/(33h) were studied with the help of a scintillation coincidence spectrometer. The relative branchings of the various gamma rays were estimated. By studying the gamma - gamma coincidences the K-internal conversion coefficients of the 56, 230, and 293 kev transitions were determined to be 6.4 ction in DDT-C/ 0.6, 0.07, and 0.12 ction in DDT-C/ 0.02, respectiveiy. The angular correlation measurements were performed for the 293-56 kev cascade. From these measurements, the spins of the ground, first, and the second excited states in Pr/sup 143/ were assigned to be 5/2/sup +/,7/2/sup +/ , and 2/2/s up +/, respectively. The 56 kev gamma ray was found to be a mixture of 99 ction in DDT-C/ 1% M1 and 1 ction in DDT-C/ 1% E2 and the 293 kev gamma ray a mixture of 97 ction in DDT-C/ 1% M1 and 3 ction in DDT-C/ 1% E2.
