Non-linear interactions between a monoenergetic nonrelativistic electron beam and a plasma in a magnetic field were analyzed using hydrodynamic approximation. It was shown that under certain conditions the non-linear interactions of transverse and longitudinal oscillations result in a transfer of energy from the beam excited longitudinal oscillations to the transverse oscillations, causing instability in the system. Various cases of instability were analyzed, and the increments of increasing transverse oscillations were found. (tr-auth)
