ABSORPTION AND EXCRETION OF RADIOACTIVE Hg$sup 203$ MERCAPTOMERIN SODIUM IN HUMANS

Journal Article · · Journal of Nuclear Medicine (U.S.)
OSTI ID:4722863
Radioactivity was detected in the plasma for 48 hours when Hg/sup 203/ mercaptomerin sodium was administered subcutaneously to patients in cardiac failure. In the presence of renal disease, it was detected in 7 days. Normally 72% of the administered dose was recovered in the urine during the first 24 hours. A dissociated relationship exists between Hg/sup 203/ excretion and the diuretic response. (auth)
