Dynamic sorption of U(VI) by KU-2 cationite from hydrochloric and sulfuric acid solutions with and without fluorine ions was investigated and the depressing effects of fluorine ions on uranium sorption were determined. Studies of U(VI) sorption from UO/sub 2/F/sub 2/ as a function of the hydrofluoric acid concentration by KU-2 in H/sup +/ and NH/sup +/ form showed that UO/sub 2/F/sub 2/ is sorbed as a simple ion.
