The sorption of calcium and molybdenum(VI) ions by the KU-2 cation- exchanger in the NH/sub 4/-form from solutions containing diethylenediaminepentaacetic acid has been studied as a function of pH and NH/sub 4/Cl concentration. A method has been suggested for determining calcium microamounts in molybdenum-base alloys. (auth)
