The authors describe the results of a study of the dependence of sorption of molybdenum(VI) on the composition of the solution pH, and the presence of salts in the solution. Study of sorption of molybdenum(VI) under static and dynamic conditions by coprecipitated zirconium and iron hydroxides showed that the sorption activity is highest in acid media (pH = 2-4). The influence of the composition of coprecipitated hydroxides on their sorption activity was studied. It was found that the sorption activity of CPH increases with their zirconium content. It was shown that molybdenum(VI) can be concentrated from dilute solutions on coprecipitated zirconium and iron hydroxides.
