Studies were made on the coprecipiatation of various quantities of uranium (10 mu g, 1 mg, and 10 mg in 20 ml of solution) with iron hydroxide (0.1 mg-atom of iron). The studies were conducted over a wide pH range in a 1 M solution of ammonium nitrate with varied uranium concentration, and coprecipitation of uranium with iron hydroxide. The coprecipitation of uranium with iron hydroxide is a complex process dependent on pH, uranium concentration, and salt composition of the solution. (OTS)
