SORPTION OF URANIUM(VI) BY SULFOCATIONS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zh. Prikl. Khim.
OSTI ID:4767189
Investigations of U(VI) sorption from 0.05M uranyl nitrate solution by KU-1, MSF-3, KU-2, SDV-3, and SBS-1 sulfocations indicate that at pH > 2.5 the sorption exceeds the exchange volume with sulfo-groups, strongly depends on the type of resins, and does not vary with temperature from 0 to 80 deg C. Complex compounds formed by adsorbed ions and resins interfere with complete U(VI) elution by stoichiometric neutral ammonium chlorides and nitrates. (R.V.J.)
