THE Al$sup 27$(p,/cap alpha/)Mg$sup 24$ REACTION WITH 3 TO 12 Mev PROTONS

Excitation curves and angular distributions of alphaparticle groups from the reaction Al/sup 27/(p, alpha )Mg/sup 24/ were determined between 3 and 12 Mev proton energy. Most of the results bear on the ground-state and first-excited state transitions; a few angular distributions between 10 and 12 Mev for higher excited states are included. (auth)
