The design of a long-arm reacher or manipulator to handle articles separated from the operator by a wall is patented. The reacher consists of 3 arm sections rigidly connected together at angles such that the middle section extends across the top of a wall and the end sections extend down on each side of the wall. The arms are hollow, and connecting mechanisms within the arms operate jaws on one s~de of the wall when the actuating member on the other side of the wall is operated.
