The interactions of a CH = CH target with a 29-Mev He/sup 3/ particles beam were analyzed. The results for elastic and inelastic processes C/sup 12/(He/ sup 3/, He/sup 3/)C/sup 12/ C/sup 12/(He/sup 3/ He/sup 3/)C/sup -12/ C/sup 12/(He/ sup 3/, alpha )C/sup 11/, C/sup 12/(He/sup 3/, d)N/sup 13/, and H/sup 1/(He/sup 3/, He/sup 3/)H/sup 1/ are presented. For the interaction radius, a value of 5.35 plus or minus 0.24 fermis was obtained by the black disk formula. The observed angular distributions were compared, when possible, with the predictions of Blair and A.B.M. direct interaction theories. The angular distributions for the elastic scattering of He/sup 3/ by H/sup 1/ was checked with theoretical predictions based on the resonating group theory. (auth)
