THE SCATTERING OF 29 MeV $sup 3$He-PARTICLES BY $sup 1$H, $sup 2$H, $sup 3$He AND $sup 4$He NUCLEI

Angular distributions for the scattering of 29 Mev He/sup 3/ particles by light nuclei were observed using a photographic plate method. Absolute differential cross sections for elastic scattering. and for inelastic processes for H/sup 2/, He/sup 3/, and He/sup 4/ nuclei, are given within the center-ofmass angular range of 20 to 150 deg . The elastic scattering distributions for the H/ sup 1/ and He/sup 3/ nuclei were compared with predictions based on resonating group theory. (auth)
